The End Game

Once the processor is switched over, the lender usually likes to see that the merchant is processing for one to two days.

During this time period the lender finishes checking references and that the merchant is current with his venders, his landlord, and franchise royalties (if applicable).  Some lenders are willing to lend out to merchants who are behind on their rent or mortgages, but this is usually the most important reference.  Assuming everything checks out, the money can be wired or ACH’ed to the merchant’s account and usually posts in his bank account the next day.
